Oh, praise for the parents who are never faced with a poison control issue! Shall there be statues built in your honor? How dare merely human parents dare to impune your superiority. My heart is bleeding BS for you. If a child finds a chemical in our homes, thank you false gods for sending healthy children to clog up the ER's and clinics with issues that could be helpfully resolved over the phone! And the other 49 states are so foolish for believing that this service is valuable. God bless you...God help you...forget that, God help your children. Oh, Arnold...your leadership will lead our children to death...but, don't worry. They are pesky children, without adequate insurence.

Thank you very much.
If people would ensure their "poisons" were locked up, it would save precious lives and have huge cost savings to the healthcare system.

[...] As the holidays are upon us we want to remind you to be acutely aware that many of the calls received by poison control centers during this time are about children getting into medications brought into the home by visiting relatives. This was alluded to in an earlier post and can be loosely termed the “granny syndrome” (http://medicationsafe.com/2008/07/13/hang-up-your-pocketbook-an-easy-intervention-for-the-granny-syn...).
